Groundwater exploration case study 1
The first case study is sourcing from one of our clients, who use the ZZ Universal system to do underground water exploration surveys.
Groundwater exploration case study 2
Four resistivity survey lines were completed to help detect underground geological conditions in the region.
The inversion results have shown the underground resistivity distribution. By comparing the samples from all four lines we know that the underground water for line 1, 2 and 4 is saline. Whereas the groundwater below line 3 is non-saline. This occurred because the client had pumped out the saline water from Well8 on line 3 and fresh water from a nearby river had flowed in to the space. So it is very easy for us to tell the difference between fresh and saline water using the resistivity distribution results.
