3.7 What is the effective survey distance between two boreholes?

This is similar to the surface resistivity survey: the wider the surface electrode range, the deeper the exploration depth. The effective distance between two boreholes in a crosshole resistivity survey is also related to the distance between the top electrode and bottom electrode in each borehole.

Generally speaking, the effective distance between two boreholes is about half of the distance between  the top electrode and bottom electrode in each borehole.
