61 channel resistivity meter set up configuration

So, for each current injection it simultaneously collects 61 voltages. Hence, we call it 61 channel. The system fully uses all 64 electrodes in each current injection. There is no other way to get more data. So we call our instrument the fastest resistivity instrument in the world!

3.1 What is 61-channel resistivity meter and how does it collect data?


As figure shows below, within 64 electrodes the FlashRES resistivity meter uses any two electrodes as current electrodes (A and B) and one as a common reference electrode (M) . It then simultaneously measures 61 potentials Vmn1, Vmn2 ...Vmn61 (relative to M) on the remaining electrodes.
